Cornercopia, the University of Minnesota’s student organic farm, will be hosting two Open House and Field Days this summer and fall! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the innovative organic growing practices students at the U of M are involved with as well as talk with researchers about organic and sustainable agriculture research. Dirt Rich’ Discussion Topics: Bio-Profile Analysis, How to Build a Paddock, Soil Characteristics, & Much More. Dr. Allen Williams and SFA Livestock & Grazing Specialist Kent Solberg have developed the classroom outline for our upcoming “Dirt Rich: Building Soil Health Experts” events, which include separate two-day sessions: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 8-9 in Faribault, MN and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 10-11 in Blue Earth, MN. Small Business Innovation Research Program Grants

Funds may be awarded up to $100,000 for a Phase I project. Proposed Phase I projects should prove the scientific or technical feasibility of the approach or concept.
