Partners from the Metro Food Access Network (MFAN) have been working together to create a state-level legislative agenda in collaboration with Colleen Moriarty and Sophia Lenarz-Coy from Hunger Solutions Minnesota and the Partners to End Hunger coalition. After some initial discussions, there is interest in creating a state-level legislative agenda that would focus on support and/or resources for new, immigrant, and small to medium-size farmers to produce and sell specialty crops (fruits and/or vegetables).
