Survey of Farmland Owners on Future of their Land

Farm owners have an opportunity to participate in a 5-minute questionaire for a USDA study led by the Kansas Rural Center and Indiana University, covering a 12-state region. This survey aims to learn how farm owners are thinking about future opportunities for their land, and how that compares to people who are looking for a farm of their own.

The survey will collect responses from people across a 12-state region who either own farm land or would like to own farm land.  After collecting responses, the research team will analyze data. All responses will be anonymous and confidential.
Feel welcome to contact the researchers with any questions whatsoever: Julia Valliant (Indiana University, jdv@indiana.edu(812) 855-3155), Mary Fund (Kansas Rural Center, 785-799-7380ksrc@rainbowtel.net), or James Farmer (Indiana University, 812-856-0969jafarmer@indiana.edu).
