U of MN Extension Safe Food Sampling Workshop

What does kohlrabi taste like? What are kale chips? Let your customers try it; they’ll like it! Learn how to offer food product samples at farmers markets and community events. Suzanne Driessen, University of Minnesota Extension food safety educator, will provide an overview of the Minnesota 2014 safe food sampling law. Vendors and food demonstrators will learn how to prepare and offer food samples implementing safe food handling practices to minimize the risk of foodborne illness. July 17, 2017.

This class will provide helpful information for those who want to provide free samples at these events.

Registration fee: $20.
