Farm Beginnings Courses from Land Stewardship Project

Farm Beginnings is a year-long course that helps beginning farmers clarify their goals and strengths, establish a strong enterprise plan and start building their operation. Classes will be held in Pine City, MN and consist of nine farmer-led classroom sessions between October and March, followed by on-farm tours and field days and connection to an extensive farmer network. Apply by September 1, 2017.

Farm Beginnings applications are due by September 1. The tuition fee is $1,500. Need-based scholarships are available.  Classes are held on Saturdays to accommodate work schedules and sessions are led by experienced farmers.
