Food Sustainability Media Award

Applications are now open for the Food Sustainability Media Award, which aims increase the public’s awareness of food sustainability issues worldwide, find solutions, and encourage action. Launched by the Barilla Center for Food & Nutrition (BCFN) and the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the award will recognize excellent professional and up-and-coming journalists from around the world who have focused their reporting on topics relating to food security, sustainable agriculture, and nutrition. Paul L. Busch Award for Work in Water Quality

Bluebird Hill Farm Essay Contest: Win the Farm

Many aspiring farmers can’t afford to buy farm land.  Former Agriculture Deputy Secretary Krysta Harden said, “Many producers, especially new and underserved farmers, tell us that access to land is one of the biggest challenges they face in establishing and growing their own farming operation.” Bluebird Hill Farm believes in making it possible for new farmers to get started.
